About the Role

ImageFIRST is the largest and only national linen rental and laundry service specializing in the healthcare market. Responsibilities

• Maintain the facility or plant and provide assistance where needed.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Provide light maintenance to equipment.
• Move product as needed to facilitate production processes.
• Perform daily equipment upkeep and safety inspections.
• Keep production area and facilities clean and neat.
• Perform basic routine maintenance on equipment.
• Perform basic routine upkeep on facilities.
• Communicate with other departments to assist with production.
• Be cross-trained in multiple areas to help as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.
• Comfortable working around chemicals and other cleaning products.
• Basic maintenance skills.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Self-motivated, able to complete tasks under little or no supervision.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 30 pounds.
• Machinery and tool operation require the use of safety equipment (eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, hardhats).
• Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
