About the Role
Clarivate provides innovative data and analytical solutions to the largest biopharmaceutical and medical technology companies. This role will lead and own end-to-end market research and analytics projects using proprietary healthcare datasets, acting as a trusted partner to clients and contributing to team development.
Responsibilities
- Lead and own end-to-end market research and analytics projects using Clarivate’s proprietary healthcare datasets.
- Build, refine, and validate data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and defensibility of outputs.
- Proactively identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or risks, supporting root-cause analysis and driving resolution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in claims and real-world data, developing deep knowledge of internal datasets, data dictionaries, and product methodology to confidently interpret and communicate insights.
- Act as a trusted partner to clients—from Fortune 500 companies to startups—leading discussions with stakeholders, understanding business challenges, and translating them into structured analytical approaches and solutions.
- Deliver clear, concise, and executive-ready outputs (presentations, summaries, training), tailoring messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Content, and Commercial teams to shape product improvements, inform methodologies, and scale best practices.
- Contribute to team development, including coaching junior team members and improving processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in sciences, healthcare, data analytics, or business.
- Minimum 5-7+ years of experience in quantitative data analysis, ideally with exposure to healthcare or claims datasets.
- Hands-on experience working with real-world healthcare datasets (e.g., claims, EHR data) is strongly preferred; deep familiarity with claims data structures and limitations is a significant asset.
- Proven ability to work with large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets—independently investigating data issues, identifying patterns/trends, and translating findings into actionable insights.
- Strong client-facing experience, including leading discussions, presenting insights, and influencing stakeholder decisions at senior levels.
- Experience supporting life sciences or medtech clients, particularly in commercial, market access, or strategy contexts.
- Exposure to market modeling, forecasting, or epidemiology-informed analysis.
- Experience mentoring junior analysts or contributing to team capability building.
- Familiarity with data QA/QC processes, data governance, or methodology development.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (including complex modeling and data manipulation)
- Experience with additional analytical tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI) is an asset.
