About the Role

Hands-on Manufacturing Operations Supervisor leading a team of 10–15 technicians in a high-volume fab environment. Responsible for executing production strategies, and ensuring operational excellence across safety, quality, and output. Collaborates cross-functionally and communicates effectively with all levels of the organization, from shop floor to senior leadership. Focused on building and developing high-performing teams through strong leadership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Perform strategic inventory analysis and execute targeted line management initiatives that optimize WIP flow, mitigate bottlenecks, and support on-time output and revenue fulfillment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing line efficiency and reducing cycle time (DPML), contributing to key operational KPIs at the shift and area level.
  • Develop and deliver clear technical communications — including on shift escalations and shift issue summaries— that translate floor-level insights into actionable visibility for leadership and drive informed decision-making.
  • Monitor and respond to high-priority production issues — including NPI delays, lookahead issues, DPML concerns, and output risks — taking swift corrective action and escalating to management with the appropriate urgency to ensure timely resolution.
  • Partner daily with cross-functional teams — including Product Operations, CAPA, and Fab Engineering & Support teams— to resolve WIP flow issues, support capacity planning discussions, and align on tool PM/BM strategies.
  • Leverage manufacturing automation systems and digital tools to monitor WIP flow, identify line issues in real time and drive data-informed decision making to maintain shift performance and operational efficiency.
  • Lead and develop a team of 10–15 manufacturing personnel, including performance evaluations, coaching, and development planning aligned with Fab goals and operational excellence standards.
  • Actively foster an inclusive, accountable team environment by identifying development opportunities, recognizing performance, and empowering personnel to grow within their roles and advance within the organization.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization — from front-line manufacturing personnel to senior leadership — ensuring alignment and timely information flow across shifts.
