About the Role
The Preventative Maintenance Technician (PMT) is responsible for the routine maintenance and upkeep on 20 RaceTrac convenience stores in a designated region, performing a variety of PM tasks at two locations per night. The PM Technician also reports equipment repairs needed via Service Channel.
Responsibilities
- Complete 4 hours of PM tasks per store at two store locations per night.
- Maintain a stock of inventory PM parts and order replacements as needed via picklist.
- Act as the team lead for Pressure Washing Technician and Facility Detail Technician.
- Serve as the primary driver of the crew vehicle.
- Aid the Pressure Washing Technician if minor repairs are needed to pressure washing equipment.
- Maintain stock and installs normal wear parts that keep washing equipment operable.
- Order and maintain a stock of pretreatment chemicals.
- Perform detailed restroom cleaning including the use of an interior pressure washer.
- Perform temperature and operation checks on specific equipment.
- Acts as the backup for the PMT position in their absence.
- Follow all RaceTrac Safety policies and guidelines.
- Ability to lift 50lbs or more on a regular basis.
- Lifting/Carrying: Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently up to 75 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 75-100 pounds.
- Push/Pull: Ability to push/pull with up to 100 pounds of force occasionally.
Requirements
- 8pm to 4am
- Sunday - Thursday
- Good driving record
- 2+ years work experience preferred
- Complete understanding of the PM process for food, beverage, desert, and HVAC/R
