About the Role
The leadership board plays a crucial role in the successful launch and ongoing operation of the live program by providing strategic direction and supporting the program director in day-to-day management.
Responsibilities
- Provide input and direction to the program director for daily operations.
- Assist with the 5 L's of operations: Leadership (recruiting staff/volunteers), Location (facility/transportation), Logistics (coordination with schools), Loot (fundraising/finances), and Language (public communications).
- Execute the T-Minus Plan prior to launch.
- Actively participate in the fundraising process.
- Attend scheduled meetings.
- Pray for the local program.
Requirements
- Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
- Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
- Completion of board member role-specific training.
- Completion of a background check & Child Abuse Awareness and Mandated Reporting training every 3 years.
- Commitment to a minimum of one year of service.
- Leadership board members may not hold a paid position within the program.
- Proven track record of exemplifying Commitment and Competence.
- Provide contact info of a local church leader where an active participant.
