About the Role

The Academic Program Success Lead is responsible for all aspects of delivery for Springboard's Allied Health and AI programs across B2C and B2B. This role requires a builder who can take early-stage ideas, mobilize teams, and deliver outcomes that are both business-sound and student-centered. You will lead new offerings from concept to execution, identify risks and opportunities, and provide clear recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Own all aspects of student support and delivery for the full student journey for multiple new initiatives from strategic framing through execution.
  • Proactively identify and address capability gaps within programs and student journeys before they become bottlenecks.
  • Translate portfolio-level insights into strategic recommendations for Program Leadership, cross-functional prioritization, and roadmapping.
  • Directly manage and sustain a high-performing team by investing in individual development, creating clear accountability, and maintaining team energy.
  • Design operational processes for the learner's experience, identifying and addressing gaps in process or capability.
  • Leverage AI tools as a force multiplier and embed AI fluency as a default operating practice.
  • Play a strong role with external partners, equipping Client Success teams with context and a point of view.
  • Understand client nuances (e.g., B2B marketplace partner versus direct B2B pilots versus B2C) and design operations to delight and deliver.
  • Serve as a connective force internally, building trust across teams and aligning colleagues around shared goals, timelines, and accountability.
  • Drive outcomes by coordinating across teams without positional authority.
  • Deliver on cohorts end-to-end, making inputs on launch considerations and equipping the team to deliver key outcomes.
  • Identify 2-3 key risks and work cross-functionally toward systematic solutions, gaining buy-in and driving solution design.
  • Gain a firm understanding of all programs and client agreements to contribute a point of view on major risks.
  • Ensure the team delivers on key outcomes including retention, refund, engagement, CSAT, NPS, completion, and externship hand-offs.
  • Demonstrate strong ownership over experimentation and program iterations to deliver outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and solve ambiguous and known risks to delivery.
  • Ensure the team has clear expectations, accountability, a sense of team, and professional growth.
  • Be pivotal in growing the portfolio of Allied Health and AI programs.
  • Create and adopt playbooks, processes, and automations that enable scale as courses mature.
  • Get into the weeds to understand personas and implement material changes to the human-guided services model, learner experience, partners, and team members.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of professional experience with end-to-end ownership in a rapidly evolving startup environment.
  • Demonstrated founder mentality with examples of creating operational capabilities from scratch.
  • Effective people management skills, including nurturing professional development and energizing teams.
  • Strong external partnership skills, including recruiting, negotiating with, and managing relationships with external partners.
  • Operational design instinct, with the ability to build scrappy MVPs versus operationalizing.
  • Ability to think in systems and workflows, designing repeatable processes.
  • Default to action and move fast, with the judgment to know when to slow down.
  • Extensive use of AI tools to amplify output, move faster, and think through problems.
  • Ability to create structure in ambiguous environments, break down complex problems, prioritize, and communicate clearly.
  • Experience driving outcomes by coordinating across teams without positional authority.
  • Understanding of compliance, accreditation, or partner relationships.
