About the Role
The Senior Practice Technology Analyst supports the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing optimization of legal technology platforms, with an emphasis on AI-powered tools and practice efficiency solutions. This role involves greater independence, complex troubleshooting, and contributing to training and support resources.
Responsibilities
- Independently support and troubleshoot practice technology platforms, resolving complex technical issues.
- Contribute to the evaluation and testing of emerging legal technology platforms, including generative AI solutions.
- Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
- Assist with user training sessions for practice technology solutions.
- Monitor technology adoption rates and system usage, analyzing data to identify trends.
- Support pilot programs by coordinating logistics, gathering user feedback, and documenting outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and support procedures.
- Serve as a resource for junior team members, helping to onboard new Analysts and sharing knowledge.
- Stay current with legal technology trends and developments.
- Participate in technology demonstrations and awareness sessions for practice groups.
- Coordinate with technology vendors regarding support issues, feature requests, and platform updates.
- Comply with department and firm administrative procedures and policies.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
- Able to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, including attorneys, partners, and support staff.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to organize, plan, and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to troubleshooting complex issues.
- Excellent customer service orientation with a focus on user experience and technology adoption.

- Demonstrated initiative in identifying issues and proactively developing solutions.
