About the Role
As the Director of Premium Mobility Segments (Europe), you will spearhead Freenow by Lyft's evolution into the definitive premium mobility leader across the continent. You will own the strategy to rapidly scale our European Premium segment, driving a monumental step-change in market share and setting new industry benchmarks. This role is a cornerstone of Freenow by Lyft's global growth engine, architecting premium sector expansion, elevating brand equity, and capturing structurally superior margins.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute long-term growth roadmaps for the European Premium segment, using London as an anchor for broader European expansion and scaling.
- Drive premium supply growth by building profitable partnerships and serving as the primary face of Lyft Premium in Europe.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to build segment demand through effective partnerships and campaigns.
- Maintain full P&L ownership, ensuring target margins and accurate growth forecasting.
- Create a scalable operating model for the Premium segment while ensuring compliance and localized deployment.
- Enforce "best-in-class" luxury experience standards, covering vehicle quality, safety, and driver behavior to ensure premium brand differentiation.
- Lead product and technical requirements for premium features, ensuring the platform meets the unique needs of luxury clientele.
- Act as the key bridge between Central Operations and local General Managers, aligning on progress, resources, and market-specific operational issues.
Requirements
- 10+ years of commercial/operational experience, ideally in a ride-hailing business, similar marketplace service sector, or hospitality.
- A start-up, problem-solving mentality is essential.
- P&L management experience is a must-have.
- Project management experience.
- Demonstrable experience of managing/influencing senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Fluent English with at least one other European language is a major plus.
