About the Role
U.S. Legal Support is hiring Digital Reporters to create the official record of legal proceedings. No prior experience is required, as structured training and certification support are provided for long-term success.
Responsibilities
- Administer oaths and participate in depositions, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
- Transport, set up, and operate computer and audio equipment for proceedings.
- Prepare audio files, exhibits, and related materials for transcription.
- Perform administrative tasks when not assigned to legal proceedings.
Requirements
- Must reside in Brooklyn, Manhattan, or Queens, New York.
- Comfortable working with computers, software, and audio equipment.
- Minimum typing speed of 55+ WPM (typing test required).
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a State Notary Commission (assistance provided; existing Notary is a plus).
- Valid state-issued driver's license, reliable transportation, and required automobile insurance.
