About the Role

Cell Labs is developing humanoid robots and the intelligent systems behind them, pushing the boundaries of what's possible. We are seeking an Operations Lead to build the operational foundation for the company's next growth phase, transforming a team of 30 into a company of 100+ employees.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale operational structures, processes, and systems to ensure efficiency and support company growth.
• Lead the Operations team and act as a strategic sparring partner to the founders.
• Serve as the central interface between customers, partners, and tech teams, coordinating contracts, project, development, and delivery plans.
• Ensure smooth site operations, manage service providers, supply chains, and material flows, and build a strong network of suppliers and partners.
• Establish structures for scalable People and Finance operations, including onboarding, performance, reporting, cash flow, and finance workflows.
• Ensure professional organization of data protection, occupational safety, and fire safety, collaborating with General Counsel and external experts.
• Develop tooling, create transparency on KPIs, deadlines, and priorities, and ensure alignment among teams and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Operations, preferably in a Tech, Hardware, or Startup environment, with responsibility for multiple operational areas and building scalable structures during a growth phase.
• Initial leadership experience, including building or managing teams and taking responsibility with high initiative.
• Strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality.
• Experience in vendor management and operational compliance, with negotiation skills in dealing with service providers and suppliers.
• Proficiency with modern operations tools such as Personio, Google Workspace, Moss, or Notion.
• Experience in a founder-led environment with short decision-making paths, significant creative freedom, and close collaboration with founders.
• Enthusiasm for robotics, AI, and Deep Tech.
• Very good German and English language skills.
• Willingness to work on-site in Berlin daily.
