About the Role

Quantum Lifecycle Partners LP is seeking a Production Associate to join their team. This role involves moving, sorting, and dismantling electronic materials in a safe and efficient manner, operating machinery like balers and shrink wrappers, and contributing to the company's mission of responsible electronics recycling and resource recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Move, sort, and break apart materials efficiently while respecting security and safety standards.
  • Operate the baler to compress and bind materials.
  • Operate the shrink wrapper.
  • Assist in other areas of the warehouse as required.
  • Identify and sort different electronic materials into specified grades to maximize production output.
  • Manually dismantle electronic materials using hand or small tools.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and work instructions for all daily activities.
  • Sort materials into defined categories and report weights processed.
  • Record data into the ERP system regarding material weight.
  • Remove batteries from all electronics.
  • Maintain housekeeping and site cleanliness with a focus on Health & Safety.
  • Promptly report any issues to the Production Supervisor or designate.
  • Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or team lead.

Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience is an asset.
  • Positive attitude and desire to learn.
  • Commitment to personal safety and the safety of coworkers.
  • Experience using various hand tools, air tools, and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs. or 18 kgs.
  • Must wear required PPE, including respirator, safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes.
