About the Role
As Team Lead Air Freight Export, Healthcare (m/w/d) in Berlin, you will be responsible for a specialized team, manage complex air freight shipments, and ensure the highest quality standards, compliance, and efficiency for time-critical and vital goods in the Healthcare sector.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for colleagues in the Healthcare Air Freight sector.
- Manage resources, assigning tasks, customers, and responsibilities.
- Oversee all export shipments, including escalation management within the Healthcare sector.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Key Accounts in the Healthcare sector.
- Ensure SLAs are met for Key Accounts in the Healthcare sector.
- Adhere to GDP, IATA, and quality guidelines.
- Monitor Healthcare sector standards for carriers and freight forwarders.
- Optimize processes for quality, cost, and efficiency in the Healthcare sector.
- Handle Pricing RFQ and ad-hoc requests in collaboration with the Air Export Team Leader.
- Support processes, including those in Air Import.
Requirements
- Completed training as a Kaufmann for Spedition and Logistikdienstleistung (m/f/d), Industriekaufmann (m/f/d), or a comparable qualification.
- Solid professional experience in handling air freight shipments.
- Initial leadership experience is desirable.
- Proficient in MS Office; CW1 is an advantage.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
- Open-minded, proactive, and reliable personality characterized by commitment, initiative, and teamwork.
