About the Role
As Floor Manager at Dovetale, the signature restaurant at 1 Hotel Mayfair, you will be the driving force behind seamless daily operations. You will ensure guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience and the team thrives in a supportive, inspiring environment, working closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth, high-quality service throughout every shift.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily floor operations with a hands-on, service-driven approach.
- Manage staff rotas, hours, and payroll accuracy.
- Support onboarding, training, and uniform management.
- Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Coordinate maintenance issues, linen orders, and stock control.
- Lead by example, setting the tone for excellence and teamwork.
Requirements
- Experienced in managing floor operations within a luxury or high-end restaurant.
- Confident using rota management systems (ideally Fourth) and overseeing schedules and timesheets.
- Knowledgeable in health, safety, and compliance standards.
- A strong communicator and natural motivator.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and calm under pressure.
- Passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and supporting your team to do the same.
