About the Role

Responsibilities

• Perform service, repair, and installation of products or IT solutions at customer sites.
• Conduct electrical and mechanical testing in accordance with maintenance contracts.
• Develop new customer service/product agreements.
• Respond to customer support calls within an assigned territory.
• Perform basic troubleshooting, installation, preventive maintenance, and repair on designated equipment.
• Manage spare parts inventory.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to ensure resolution and accurate follow-up.
• Utilize documented processes and root cause analysis to resolve customer service issues.
• Drive service business growth through sales actions and quoting service agreements, parts, upgrades, consumables, and equipment leads.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, OR relevant degree in Biology, Chemistry, or other STEM field.
• Equivalent military training OR Associate's degree with 2+ years work experience.
• Ability to travel 35% of the time, including overnight travel within territory.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb.
• Experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment is preferred.
