About the Role

The Detail Associate works with the Service department to ensure new and used vehicles are cleaned, waxed, detailed, and prepared in a timely and thorough manner, meeting dealership standards.

Responsibilities

• Vacuum and steam clean interiors.
• Wash and polish exteriors.
• Carry out minor repairs to damaged paint work.
• Complete every job according to dealership standards.
• Regularly inspect new car inventory to ensure appearance meets dealership standards.
• Keep work area clean, free of clutter, and presentable.
• Follow company safety policies and practices.
• Immediately report any and all accidents to a Manager/Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and high-quality control standards.
• Excellent time management skills, with ability to work effectively against deadlines.
• Some knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance with previous detail experience.
• Good judgment in execution of tasks.
• Must be able to work in an active, social atmosphere without being distracted.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate customers’ interests, needs and requests to management and the parts team.
• A valid Ontario’s license and good driving record.
