About the Role

Supervise an amenity floor in a luxury apartment building, including the fitness center, spa, outdoor pool, and indoor lounge. This part-time role offers flexibility and is ideal for a summer job near UT campus.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, maintain, and clean fitness equipment.
  • Tend to fitness and spa towel service.
  • Maintain spa cold plunges.
  • Tend to espresso machines.
  • Straighten pool furniture.
  • Welcome guests and explain building programs and activities.
  • Report and resolve complaints.
  • Maintain attendance records and enforce rules tactfully.
  • Be timely and punctual for work.
  • Attend all scheduled training and meetings.
  • Ensure the desk and surrounding area are safe, clean, and orderly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 6 months of experience in hospitality or recreation.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, show initiative, and make decisions.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and anticipate problems.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Awareness of proper body mechanics to prevent injury.
  • Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, walk, and talk.
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
