About the Role

As a member of the Thrive Network Deployment team, you will be responsible for deploying network infrastructure and services to new and existing customers. You will utilize Thrive’s primary networking solutions to optimize and secure customer environments, conduct product evaluations, implement upgrades, expand networks, monitor networks, and document network configurations. You will follow established standards and contribute to process improvement.

Responsibilities

Handle diverse networking environments across various business clients.
Analyze and document unfamiliar network environments.
Coordinate with relevant teams for equipment installation, service testing, and problem resolution.
Deploy and activate network solutions and internet circuits.
Troubleshoot network-level incidents and provide information to escalation resources.
Manage deployments through the project process to ensure successful outcomes.
Complete deployment activities during scheduled maintenance windows.
Transition deployed service offerings to the support team with necessary documentation.
Escalate issues to senior engineers for further review and troubleshooting.
Communicate directly with customers regarding project plans, potential impact, and testing procedures.
Demonstrate excellent time management skills to accomplish large projects.
Exhibit an enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude with a team-first approach.

Requirements

3+ years of Networking and Firewall experience.
Proficient with IPV4 protocols, VPN, TCP/IP, and Next Generation Firewalls.
Experience with Fortinet, Palo Alto, Meraki, Cisco, Ruckus, and Extreme products.
Experience with Visio.
Experience troubleshooting network configuration and hardware issues.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent problem-solving ability; able to prioritize and coordinate between multiple projects.
