About the Role

We are seeking an HR Specialist to support the retail organization and manage projects in support of the broader business. You will build collaborative partnerships with retail leaders and store teams by providing support and follow-through. This is an action-oriented role that helps drive business results by ensuring our ability to attract, engage, and develop talent. You will also act as a project coordinator for various HR projects. Additionally, you will promote engagement through company initiatives and ensure a positive workplace culture across our retail teams whilst you model and champion our core belief; People Make the Difference and our values; Be Creative & Innovative, Deliver Excellence and Cultivate an Entrepreneurial Spirit.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR administrative support to the retail population, acting as the primary point of contact for benefits, policies, procedures, and leaves of absence.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding benefits packages, ensuring clear understanding and providing assistance.
  • Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Facilitate a seamless onboarding process, including generating offer letters, conducting background checks, and creating/maintaining employee files.
  • Track and analyze data regarding staffing, retention, turnover, and exit interviews to provide insights for talent discussions.
  • Assist employees through the leaver process and keep relevant stakeholders informed.
  • Continuously review and maintain internal headcount records, organizational charts, and HR data trackers.
  • Partner with the HRBP and corporate partners to ensure compliance with employment law and company policies.
  • Participate in monthly Health & Safety meetings, acting as the primary contact for workers' compensation claims and return-to-work plans.
  • Track and analyze H&S metrics, including injury types and lost time, presenting findings and trends to the HR team.
  • Champion and support DEIB initiatives that positively impact people, culture, and brand.
  • Lead or support various HR projects and initiatives.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with retail leadership to identify business needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Support the full-cycle recruitment process for retail positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
  • Lead or support TA special projects such as career fairs, hiring events, and seasonal recruitment.
  • Manage LVMH Rehire eligibility checks.
  • Update the Recruitment Activity Tracker on all applicable roles.
  • Provide support to workplace investigations by conducting research, providing insight, and scheduling interviews.
  • Create a tracker for all Performance Management and Development follow-up activity.
  • Prepare Memos and Agreements when required.
  • Support with ER reporting when required.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role, ideally within the luxury retail sector.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively and build strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality and discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, with expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
