About the Role

Pratt Industries is seeking individuals to be trained in their corrugating department as machine operators, assistants/helpers, or forklift drivers to fill vacant positions. This is a full-time, year-round opportunity with a growing manufacturing company.

Responsibilities

• Operate and learn a variety of machinery including forklift equipment.
• Follow directions under limited supervision.
• Learn manufacturing principles and practices.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations and read a tape measure.
• Lift and load materials.
• Comply with safety and operational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Communicate with co-workers to provide and receive direction.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED.
• Experience working in a manufacturing facility is highly preferred.
• Exemplary safety performance.
• Good performance/work history.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Workplace orderliness and housekeeping.
• Ability to work overtime including weekends based on business needs.
