About the Role
The Senior Vice President of Capital Markets will source and secure capital for real estate investments, build and manage relationships with lenders and equity partners, negotiate agreements, and oversee transaction closings. This role is integral to the company's growth strategy and reports to the CFO.
Responsibilities
- Source and structure debt and equity for real estate investments, both development and acquisitions
- Develop and maintain investor and lender relationships
- Manage the transaction closing process
- Review and negotiate loan documents
- Review and negotiate partnership/joint venture documents
- Review and approve construction draws
- Forecast capital needs and oversee capital compliance throughout the investment period
- Lead and implement internal investment-level capital processes across multiple divisions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in a related field and at least 10 years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Financial institution and people management experience required
- Prior experience in an account management role in Financial Services and/or Commercial Real Estate highly preferred
