About the Role

MNHI is seeking a strategically minded Country Leader for Germany, Switzerland, and Austria to lead the introduction, adoption, and scale-up of OdonAssist™, a novel medical device for assisted vaginal birth. This role involves leading commercialization efforts within complex healthcare systems, engaging with clinical and hospital stakeholders, and driving sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the DACH sales strategy and act as the primary point of contact for OdonAssist™ activities in Germany.
  • Organize and represent MNHI at national congresses, clinical events, and regulatory meetings.
  • Coordinate and deliver clinical training sessions for obstetric teams.
  • Manage inbound and outbound marketing using CRM systems and analytics.
  • Oversee budgeting, reporting, and resourcing for national activities.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and business partners.
  • Review financial statements and records to ensure goals are met and identify performance improvements.
  • Resolve operational issues and hurdles efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs to define go-to-market strategies for maternity hospitals and key opinion leaders.
  • Engage with the Customer Care team to ensure high-quality service.
  • Lead engagement with hospital procurement, buying groups, and tender administrators.
  • Interact with Regulatory and Quality teams regarding product registration and compliance.
  • Work with marketing communications to execute promotional campaigns.
  • Coordinate with Finance and Operations for business planning and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a medical field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in business development, marketing, or senior sales within the medical technology industry.
  • Previous experience in a Country Lead role or similar in Germany or the DACH region.
  • Proven track record in creating and implementing business strategies and market access plans.
  • Experience in formulating and implementing account management plans.
  • Experience in establishing purchasing/procurement paths and tenders for hospital maternities.
  • Proven experience in tracking performance indicators and assessing country performance.
  • Team management experience.
  • Experience in collecting and communicating customer information via market research.
  • Background in obstetrics, midwifery, or women's health products is a plus.
  • Understanding of maternal and newborn care pathways is a plus.
  • Existing network in the obstetrics or maternal health community is preferred.
  • Experience in a start-up environment is preferred.
