About the Role

As a Field Customer Support Specialist, you will support customers across a wide variety of lab-based scientific business sectors, making your role diverse and interesting. With Waters being a Global Organization, there are endless opportunities for you to learn, grow and develop. Many of our team members have advanced their careers either in their current roles or moving into different parts of our business such as applications support, sales, global support, and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Install, qualify, validate, calibrate, maintain, and repair Waters systems.
  • Analyze and review system and scientific data to determine the source of problems and recommend repair, replacement, or other corrective actions.
  • Coordinate problem resolution with matrix teams to expedite repairs and deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Manage customer expectations by communicating work performed and providing follow-up plans.
  • Build strong rapport and trusted advisor partnerships with customers to provide advice and support on Waters products and services, identifying opportunities to advance their laboratory operations.

Requirements

  • Interest in science, problem-solving, service, and people.
  • Laboratory, analytical, chemistry, or engineering background.
  • Flexibility and enjoyment of variety in your role.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with customers.

  • Field-based
  • Ideally positioned close to Cardiff and/or the M4 Corridor
