About the Role
Join our Client Accounting Services (CAS) Team for variety, flexibility, and meaningful client work. This client-facing role allows you to build strong relationships and collaborate with professionals at all levels, offering a chance to make a real impact.
Responsibilities
- Project-based accounting work for various local clients.
- Manage client's full financial statement reporting process, including cash flow and disclosures.
- Assist with supervising the accounting department at various clients or internal accounting staff.
- Analyze general ledger processes, identify, and clean up account errors.
- Manage short-term/long-term cash flow needs.
- Communicate reporting requirements with clients and banks.
- Assess client's accounting needs and create proposals if necessary.
- Set up accounting ledgers or systems for emerging businesses.
- Review outstanding receivables and analyze allowance for doubtful accounts.
- Update and maintain clients’ annual operating plan/budgets.
- Coordinate all accounting efforts with external auditors, tax preparers, supervision of staff, and regular communications with owners and financial institutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of six years accounting/month close responsibilities, with two of those years in an accounting management controller type role.
- Industry accounting experience in service, manufacturing, or distribution is preferred.
- Experience working in a public accounting firm is highly recommended.
- Experience with QuickBooks/Intacct and/or other accounting systems is required.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills are necessary.
- Ability to meet deadlines, be proactive, and possess solid multi-tasking skills.
- Strong analytical skills and solid business knowledge related to operations and procedures.
- CPA or CMA is a plus, but not required.

- $92,000-$115,000 annually
