About the Role

Meta’s Product Risk & Compliance teams embed privacy, integrity, and regulatory compliance into critical products and systems. This role is at the heart of the company’s most important investments and challenges, working horizontally across the company to identify emerging patterns and create solutions for controls. The work ranges from company-wide responses to new laws, supporting product teams on technical strategy, to building centralized technology systems for compliance-by-design. You will influence technical decision-making and company strategy, drive prioritization and execution, and manage engineers and engineering managers in a fast-paced, impact-focused environment. We seek a strong technical leader with a track record of structuring healthy organizations that foster effective cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

Build, manage, and support diverse teams of software engineers and engineering managers.
Drive strategy for company trajectory-altering problems, managing executive leadership relationships and coordinating execution plans with partner organizations.
Ensure legal and regulatory commitments are met while optimizing for company efficiency.
Provide both technical and organizational leadership.
Form cross-functional and cross-discipline partnerships to drive engineering efforts.
Uphold a culture of respect, integrity, inclusion, and innovation.
Recruit, build, structure, and lead technical organizations, including performance management.
Operate effectively in a constantly evolving environment with fluid processes and rapid operationalization of creative solutions.
