About the Role
The Network Security team is responsible for the evolution, support, and governance of our worldwide network and its security. As a Senior Network Security Advisor with strong Palo Alto hands-on experience, you will drive the advancement, performance, and stability of our infrastructure with a focus on innovation and automation.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level technical expertise to support the network security operations team.
- Deliver high-quality internal and external customer service aligned with company values.
- Implement and support Network Security components including NGFW, DDoS, LAN, WAN, Data Center infrastructure, and ZTNA.
- Ensure all network infrastructure engineering patterns are designed to meet SLA requirements.
- Write and review change requests as part of the change management process.
- Recommend improvements to the overall network security posture.
- Participate in documentation processes, including network diagrams, contact lists, and tool utilization.
- Collaborate with managers to develop and monitor standards according to company guidelines.
- Assist with escalated issue resolution and participate in problem management activities.
- Participate in an on-call support rotation for 24x7x365 coverage of critical infrastructure.
- Work overtime during emergencies as required.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Networking or Technology.
- 5+ years of experience in IP-based large environments.
- Strong experience with Network security equipment (Palo Alto, Zscaler ZIA & ZPA, IPS, DDoS, microsegmentation).
- In-depth understanding of the TCP/IP protocol.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment in an organized, methodical, and pleasant manner.
- Provide expert technology platform support for the change control process, including impact analysis, method of procedure review, implementation, and verification.
- Ability to take ownership and coordinate resolution of network-related problems.
- Outstanding analytical and methodical troubleshooting skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Customer service focused with demonstrated energy, professionalism, and welcoming characteristics.
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle sensitive and pressured situations.
- Ability to identify issues and help develop strategy and tactical plans for various department initiatives.
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Expert-level knowledge of network administration, architecture, and engineering in mission-critical environments.
- Bilingualism required for candidates located in Quebec for regular interaction with English-speaking colleagues nationwide.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.

Salary/Compensations
- 101,800 - 124,400
- Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance): 12%
