About the Role

Northeastern University London seeks a Lecturer in Business Information Systems to teach undergraduate and postgraduate students, and provide service to the discipline. The role involves developing and delivering innovative teaching in Business Information Systems and related areas, with a preference for candidates interested in the relationship between BIS and digital transformation, AI implementation, or Management Information Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and provide innovative and inclusive teaching in Business Information Systems at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Provide professional service commensurate with career stage.
  • Support the integration of technologies into learning and teaching.

Requirements

  • A Postgraduate Degree in Business Information Systems or equivalent professional experience.
  • FHEA status, or equivalent, achieved or expected (Desirable).
  • Excellent ability to be adaptable, innovative, and inclusive in teaching.
  • Willingness and capacity to undertake continuous professional development in AI, technology, data, sustainability, and ethics.
  • Teaching competency in Business Information Systems and related areas at Levels 4–7.
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Must undergo at least a basic DBS check.
