About the Role
Responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise single sign-on (SSO) solutions to support secure, scalable, and seamless access across applications and platforms. Provides advanced troubleshooting and technical expertise for authentication, authorization, and federation services. Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure integrations align with identity security standards and regulatory requirements. Mentors junior engineers and contributes to automation and modernization of SSO services.
Responsibilities
- Designs and implements SSO integrations for applications, identity providers, and third-party services.
- Provides advanced troubleshooting and resolution of escalated authentication and federation issues.
- Optimizes SSO performance and ensures alignment with compliance and security frameworks.
- Develops and maintains technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and operational playbooks.
- Collaborates with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to strengthen access security.
- Contributes to audits, risk assessments, and remediation activities for identity and access management.
- Participates in automation and monitoring initiatives to improve SSO service reliability and efficiency.
- Recommends and implements improvements to authentication, authorization, and federation policies.
- Mentors and provides technical guidance to junior engineers on SSO technologies and best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- All experience must be paid and in the same related field.
- Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week.
- Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
