About the Role
Independence Title Company is seeking a Licensed Escrow Assistant to coordinate the collection of information to finalize home sales, handle A to Z processing, and support the closing process.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the collection of information to finalize a home sale.
- Handle A to Z processing: front end, curative for Schedule C, working up CDs/HUDs, and post-closing/funding tasks.
- Gain hands-on experience with the closing process.
- Communicate professionally, respectfully, and effectively, verbally and in writing, with customers and co-workers.
- Back up on closings as requested by Closer or management.
- Keep Escrow Officer license active and CE credits up to date after becoming licensed.
Requirements
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Must successfully apply for Escrow Officer License once onboard with the Company.
- A minimum of 4 years of Escrow experience, frontend and backend/funding, is required.
- Great written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Must be able to work proficiently with technology and in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Outlook.
