About the Role

The Manager, Partner Management & Activation will oversee 100+ partnerships across MSG's sports and entertainment properties, managing contractual fulfillment, optimizing partner KPIs, and building strategic relationships to maximize impact and drive revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Manage contractual fulfillment for select partners, including hospitality, signage, events, social/digital content, and 360-degree campaigns.
  • Optimize activations against partner KPIs.
  • Maintain budgets and build internal/external relationships.
  • Engage in strategic asset planning.
  • Provide material support across the department in delivering partnership objectives.
  • Forge relationships across departments within MSG.
  • Support and lead delivery and execution of contractual assets for a mid-level partner roster.
  • Explore new opportunities to maximize impact against partner objectives.
  • Assist directors & senior directors on larger, multi-property accounts.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders to drive client initiatives.
  • Manage day-to-day responsibilities for partner roster, including status reports, planning calls, budgets, and Salesforce.
  • Support and lead event day activations, ensuring execution meets partner and MSG standards.
  • Lead end-of-season recap execution, performance evaluation, and strategy planning support.
  • Identify upsell opportunities and obtain cross-departmental approvals.
  • Assist on annual renewal process through briefs and information sharing.
  • Provide exceptional experiences for guests, partners, and team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of strategic consulting or account management experience, particularly in the sports or entertainment sector.
  • Knowledge of the national sports and entertainment marketplace.
  • Experience in account management and relationship building, both internal and external.
  • Experience developing new concepts leading to incremental revenue.
  • Experience in project management from a leadership role in both conceptualizing plan and execution.
  • Experience with event management and creating solutions to meet partner hospitality needs.
  • Experience evaluating third-party measurement data and making recommendations based on performance.
  • Required to work event nights based on business need.
