About the Role

SANY’s Syracuse Academy of Science Charter Elementary School is seeking a Lead Elementary Teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year. This role is ideal for both new and experienced teachers looking for a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging lesson plans that conform to the charter's curriculum.
• Collaborate with staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
• Prepare students for standardized tests relevant to the content area.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• New York State Teacher Certification required.
• Fingerprint clearance through NYS Department of Education.
• Experience with diverse student populations or in an urban setting is a plus.
• Prior teaching experience preferred, novice teachers encouraged to apply.
