About the Role
Schneider Electric is seeking experienced Service Representatives to perform field service tasks supporting a diverse range of customer assets, focusing on Secure Power and Power Systems. The role involves minimizing downtime and maximizing reliability through high-quality training, team support, and ongoing development.
Responsibilities
- Completing a variety of field service tasks across the Sydney region and nearby locations
- Collaborating with other technical team members in the efficient coordination and execution of complex installations, preventative maintenance, repairs and other ad-hoc tasks
- Commissioning, site testing, system / firmware upgrades and ad-hoc troubleshooting
- Providing technical support and specialist advice to Customers
- Acting as a role model in relation to relevant HS&E requirements and adhere to other internal processes
- Documenting service activities, maintenance reports, repair logs and inventory management
- Identifying new opportunities to expand service offerings that focus on Customer requirements
Requirements
- A Grade (Unrestricted) Electrical License
- Current Drivers License
- Previous experience in a similar Field Service or Maintenance position
- Proven ability to collaborate with various teams and work autonomously when required
- A technical aptitude and a digital mindset that is engaged in new technologies
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and a natural problem-solver / trouble-shooter
- Demonstrated commitment to all things HS&E and confident in identifying risks
- Must have working rights in Australia at the time of application
