About the Role
Join the Hedin Automotive Aftersales team as a Parts Warehouse Operative & Driver. This role supports the Parts Department's daily operations, combining warehouse duties with delivery driving responsibilities to ensure exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Maintain stock accuracy and support warehouse organization.
- Prepare customer orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy.
- Pick, load, and unload vehicle parts efficiently and safely.
- Cover Parts Delivery Driver routes during absences, holidays, or peak demand.
- Safely deliver and collect BMW parts to/from suppliers and Service Centres.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, maintaining clear communication.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
- Good geographical knowledge of London and surrounding counties.
- Excellent time management and route planning skills.
- Previous experience in a delivery driver or similar role.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
- Valid clean UK Driving Licence for a minimum of 1 year.
- Confident driving a transit-sized vehicle.
- Able to lift and carry parts weighing up to 20kg.
