About the Role
Northeastern University London seeks a Lecturer in Marketing to teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate students and provide service to the discipline. The role emphasizes innovative and inclusive teaching, with a preference for candidates interested in the relationship between business and areas like Marketing, International Business, Innovation, Sustainability, and Ethics. Responsibilities
- Develop and provide innovative and inclusive teaching in relevant areas of Business at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
- Provide professional service commensurate with career stage.
- Contribute to work across a variety of teams, both faculty and professional services colleagues, particularly in the entrepreneurship and educational innovation space.
Requirements
- A Postgraduate Degree in Marketing or equivalent professional experience in a relevant area.
- FHEA status, or equivalent, achieved or expected (Desirable).
- Excellent ability to be adaptable, innovative, and inclusive in teaching.
- Willingness and capacity to undertake continuous professional development in relation to institutionally strategic themes, including AI, technology, data, sustainability, and ethics.
- Teaching competency in Marketing and related areas at Levels 4–7 (undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels).
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Excellent IT skills and evidence of supporting the integration of technologies into learning and teaching.
- Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
- Must adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Must be able to demonstrate eligibility to work in the UK.
