About the Role

As a Principal Technical Marketing Engineer for Prisma AIRS, you will join a team responsible for driving AI security and working with cutting-edge technology to redefine the future. This customer-facing role supports product managers, marketing teams, and customers by developing outbound technical communication, including product best practices, competitive reviews, and demo environments. You will perform technical analysis, support product innovation, influence strategy, and act as a thought leader in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, constantly refine, and execute the technical marketing plan.
  • Utilize AI to scale impact by creating innovative enablement and defining the art of the possible.
  • Present Executive Briefings to C-Suite executives with deep technical expertise.
  • Create, maintain, and deliver effective technical tools, whitepapers, demos, videos, and technical training for sales, customers, and partners.
  • Act as a key technical evangelist for Palo Alto Networks, speaking at seminars, conferences, customer briefings, and other internal groups.
  • Work with engineering to identify product gaps based on competitive analysis and drive enhancements.
  • Serve as the domain authority on Palo Alto Networks products to assist Domain Consultants with competitive questions.
  • Identify sales challenges based on competitive situations and provide solutions.
  • Document technical concepts to ensure products are well understood and utilized.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop collaterals including battle cards, presentations, and white papers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Marketing Engineer for network/cybersecurity area or a DevOps/Solution Architect, preferably for AI security, network, or data security products.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation skills and trade show experience.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies, experiment with products, and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Strong customer advocacy skills and experience, with the ability to work in difficult customer situations.
  • Ability to get things done, with fast learning, strong initiative, and a sense of ownership.
  • Experience in automation tools and building dashboards.
  • Experience with writing and editing technical documentation and operational procedures.
