About the Role

Datadog is seeking a People Business Partner (PBP) to collaborate with leadership and the People team to support a growing global organization. This role will address the specific needs of employees while strategically contributing to all People programs and initiatives within a rapidly scaling company experiencing exponential growth.

Responsibilities

• Represent the global PBP team to partner with employees and leadership on the front lines.
• Advise, coach, and influence management on people-related matters including performance management, coaching, career pathing, employee relations, compensation, organizational development and scaling, training, culture, diversity & inclusion, and employee engagement.
• Consult with appropriate Center of Excellence (COE) teams to design programs that enhance the employee experience.
• Build, advise, and consult on People policies, guidelines, and programs in collaboration with COE colleagues.
• Provide analysis and consulting to leadership to drive data-driven people decisions and implement best practices.
• Assess employee development needs, make recommendations, and implement solutions aligned with organizational strategy.
• Handle complex global employee relations issues, collaborating with leadership to implement best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an HRBP or in a related HR role, preferably within fast-growing technology companies.
• Ability to adapt approach and pivot skillset from strategic program implementation to granular day-to-day business needs.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Solid experience with HRIS (Workday is a bonus).
• Experience working across business functions with first-line and senior leadership.
• Proficiency in project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to design clear processes.
• Detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem-solving.
• Experience in employee relations and knowledge of global employment practices.
• Clear, direct, approachable, and friendly communication style with a strong customer service orientation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and trust at all organizational levels.
• Passionate about technology and eager to grow skills.
