About the Role
Lawrence Hall, a non-profit human services organization founded in 1865, seeks a Project Manager to plan, oversee, and lead projects from ideation to completion. This role is crucial for driving strategic initiatives that enhance services and extend the organization's impact.
Responsibilities
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Track project progress using appropriate tools and techniques, providing regular status reports to management.
- Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Perform risk management to minimise potential risks and create contingency plans.
- Foster strong relationships with all project stakeholders and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the defined scope, and within budget.
Requirements
- Proven professional experience in project management, preferably within the non-profit or human services sector.
- Excellent organisational skills, including strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- A solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2).
