About the Role
Lawrence Hall is seeking a dedicated and highly organised Remote Appointment Scheduler to join our team. This full-time position offers remote work flexibility and is crucial for connecting children, youth, and families with our vital services, serving as the first point of contact for clients and ensuring a smooth scheduling experience.
Responsibilities
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments efficiently.
- Manage and coordinate multiple calendars to optimise appointment availability.
- Communicate with clients compassionately, professionally, and timely via phone and email.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records and appointment details.
- Send timely appointment reminders and follow-up communications.
- Liaise with internal departments for seamless coordination of care.
- Act as a helpful first point of contact, addressing initial enquiries and directing individuals to appropriate resources.
- Uphold the strictest standards of confidentiality regarding all client information.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative, scheduling, or client-facing support role.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and empathetic telephone manner.
- High proficiency in using computers and scheduling software, including the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote setting.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong understanding of the importance of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Experience working within a non-profit, healthcare, or social services environment is highly desirable.
