About the Role
Under the leadership of the Hospitality & Events Planner, supports events and programs which further the mission of Canandaigua National Corporation (CNC). Works closely with a variety of people in a fast paced, team-oriented, highly visible environment. Coordinates all aspects of event planning for a wide variety of events hosted by CNC and its affiliates. Consistently works to present and maintain a positive image of the organization and its constituents to all stakeholders throughout the event planning process.
Responsibilities
- Assists with all aspects of events, including scheduling planning meetings, reserving rooms, securing vendors, placing IT and Facilities requests, requesting lists, invites and materials, recording expenses, submitting invoices, set up/take down, and staffing the check-in table.
- Develops, communicates, and implements a timeline for each event, ensuring it is communicated to and met by all involved parties.
- Ensures time and cost-efficient processes are utilized throughout the event life cycle.
- Works closely with the Hospitality & Events Planner to develop and maintain an on-going events calendar and processes Event Request Forms.
- Attends and oversees event happenings and resolves problems quickly.
- Represents CNC at numerous functions.
- Manages relationships with vendors and various venues.
- Gathers and analyzes event and program feedback to measure and evaluate event success.
- Assists with coordination work within the event planning team and engages with team members in other departments as needed.
- Responds to inquiries or requests for information, maintains appropriate records, and provides assigned reports.
Requirements
- Requires schedule flexibility, as this position may require occasional mornings, evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with a PC and associated programs (such as Microsoft Office).
- Proficiency in implementing event planning strategies.
- Familiarity with audio/visual equipment and presentation programs.
- Knowledge of the bank’s products and services is desired.

- $25.25 - $30.25 per hour
