About the Role

Hood Packaging Corporation is seeking an experienced Full-time Sales Representative for our West US Region. This position will require travel and presence in the Toronto, Canada territory.

Responsibilities

• Achieve maximum sales profitability and growth within an assigned territory by effectively selling all of Hood’s products.
• Prepare an annual business plan for the assigned territory and compile and complete a yearly sales and expense forecast.
• Develop and execute sales strategies with the help of the Territory Sales Manager and the Director of Region Sales.
• Identify and plan Target Account strategies in conjunction with the Territory Sales Manager.
• Monitor competitive activity and trends within the territory.
• Conduct strategic account reviews with the Territory Sales Manager, monthly.
• Utilize the CRM system daily for leads, opportunities, sales call reports, and trial tracking.
• Prepare and submit weekly call reports, weekly expense reports, and monthly activity reports utilizing the Hood CRM system.

Requirements

• University/college degree and 2-5 years’ experience.
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills, able to set priorities; responsive to customers.
• Self-motivated.
• Good computer skills.
• Some knowledge of flexible packaging products and markets.
