About the Role

As a Validation Engineer in the Digital Multiphase Controllers Validation Team, you will support silicon evaluation requirements to meet product goals. You will be responsible for validating blocks against marketing, industry, and design requirements within the product timeline. You will collaborate with global validation teams to identify and resolve bugs in prototype controllers for successful customer delivery and market ramp-up.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical silicon device evaluation at chip and board level and document errata.
  • Deliver silicon evaluation plans, evaluation reports, and regular status updates.
  • Self-track against the schedule and promptly highlight any issues preventing progress.
  • Support the Validation Lead with new requirements or tasks.
  • Interface with core team members to resolve application and device-related issues.
  • Develop software & hardware for automated measurements to improve execution efficiency.
  • Independently develop ideas to improve silicon evaluation flow.
  • Track equipment calibration and ensure up-to-date certificates.

Requirements

  • University degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of production flows in the semiconductor industry.
  • System, hardware, and mixed-signal device validation and debugging skills.
  • Experience in usage & automation of equipment for validation.
  • Software skills sufficient for measurement automation script development, primarily Python.
  • Knowledge of SCPI commands to communicate with lab equipment.
  • Understanding of communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, SVID, SVI3, AVS, PMBUS).
  • Results-oriented, able to deliver on time under tight schedule pressure, self-tracking, and agile to task adaptation.
