About the Role

The In-Room Dining Server will be responsible for providing a clean and pleasant dining experience for guests staying in the hotel. They will collect and deliver food and beverage orders courteously and efficiently. We are looking for someone available Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM To 12:00 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Answer IRD phone/tablet, take detailed food/drink orders, note allergies/restrictions.
  • Deliver orders to guest rooms promptly, courteously, and accurately.
  • Greet guests, answer menu questions, ensure satisfaction.
  • Set up tables/trays according to standards.
  • Record transactions, handle payments using Toast POS systems.
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding orders, availability, and special requests.
  • Clean work areas, restock supplies, perform opening/closing duties.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of 1-year of In room dining experience in luxury hotel environment.
  • Must be available to work AM shifts - Monday-Thursday 7:00 Am To 12:00 PM.
  • Passion for food and beverage operations.
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Flexible schedule based on the needs of Sartianos, their programming, and peak times.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell.
  • Frequently required to walk.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
