About the Role
As an Engineering Senior Lead Analyst, you will be an integral member of the Architecture & Engineering profession, working throughout the entire project lifecycle. You will enable the delivery of highly complex projects across multiple work streams, manage requirements, and challenge scope and priorities to ensure optimal business value. You will also collaborate with diverse stakeholders and have opportunities to become a people manager.
Responsibilities
- Work throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial discovery and shaping to build and implementation phases.
- Ensure technical solutions align with business and operational objectives.
- Enable the delivery of highly complex projects across multiple work streams.
- Utilize methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
- Elicit and manage business, technical, and operational requirements across a complex domain.
- Challenge scope and priorities to ensure optimal business value.
- Understand end-to-end business processes.
- Identify cross-domain dependencies.
- Work with delivery teams on planning, prioritisation, and estimation.
- Collaborate and share within the Analysis community.
- Support other Analysts.
- Work with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Advocate for improved analysis approaches.
- Become a people manager for fellow Analysts and Engineers (optional).
- Continuously improve skills and keep abreast of the latest technologies and techniques.
Requirements
- Experience of delivering and supporting technical solutions in an IT Delivery and Operations Environment.
- Proven experience delivering change initiatives in a cross-functional Product team.
- Experience in delivering complex technology projects, spanning multiple business and technology teams, that include cross-functional expertise.
- Proactive and autonomous, possessing the leadership skills necessary to independently drive analysis from concept through completion.
- Ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- A clear passion for innovation and change with demonstrable evidence of delivery of innovative change/disruptive thinking.
- Proven track record of extensive stakeholder management by establishing and maintaining excellent working relationships with senior business and technical stakeholders.
- Experience of using a range of requirement elicitation techniques and identifying the most effective techniques for different programmes / projects / product teams.
- Thrive in a technical environment and experience of using a range of models to visualise complex problems within a given sphere (domain, technical, business) to build common understanding amongst different stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and is confident in presenting and running workshops to large and diverse audiences.
