About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Director with deep expertise in artificial intelligence and quality engineering. You will craft persona-based positioning and messaging to build awareness, preference, and loyalty among target audiences. This role involves close collaboration with field and demand marketing, product management, and sales teams to evangelize our message, foster customer relationships, and develop value-focused content that drives pipeline growth and conversion.
Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of customers and their business challenges through market interactions, research, and feedback.
- Create value-oriented messaging that articulates the value proposition and market differentiation.
- Develop marketing content for the entire customer sales and adoption lifecycle, including assets for communications, demand generation, inside sales, direct sales, and customer success teams.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop programs that drive demand and grow the sales pipeline.
- Represent the company externally at conferences, thought leadership forums, and customer meetings.
- Influence upstream product roadmap decisions in partnership with Product Management and solution architects.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, providing regular updates and strategic recommendations.
- Conduct win/loss interviews and analysis to gather insights on competitive positioning, product strengths/weaknesses, and market opportunities.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of competitive strategies, recommending improvements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of overall experience, with at least 2 years in software testing, DevOps, or AI within the software delivery lifecycle.
- Player-coach mentality for leading teams across multiple SaaS products.
- Strong content marketing and content creation skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into meaningful business value for quality assurance and engineering audiences.
- Strategic thinker with the capacity for detailed execution and a passion for success.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Outstanding analytical ability.
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated curiosity for new marketing trends and best practices relevant to the target market.
- Professional team player with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- BS/BA degree required.
- Must not be listed on any government restricted party lists.
- Must certify that employment would not violate any sanctions or export control regulations.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
