About the Role
Window Nation is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and grow installation and branch operations for their Long Island branch. This role will oversee operational and install processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, profitability, and customer experience for their newest location.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the branch operational plan that meets the company’s goals and objectives.
- Deliver on branch margin and profitability targets; recommend, implement, and monitor actions to increase revenue generation and profitability.
- Recruit, onboard, and manage employees; maintain appropriate staff levels based on pipeline indicators.
- Maintain positive customer relationships; identify, monitor, and manage customer service standards.
- Collaborate with the regional team to identify, develop, and implement best practices and SOPs.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- 7+ years of experience in operations, production, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or a related industry.
- 4+ years of progressive leadership or management experience, with proven ability to lead teams and drive results.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Background in service and installation operations management within the home improvement, construction, remodeling, or similar industries.
- Ability to manage branch financials, including budgeting, P&L oversight, and cost control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.).
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
Skills
- Ability to accurately measure and determine installation requirements for windows, doors, and other home improvement products.
- Knowledge of building codes, construction techniques, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Previous experience recruiting, managing, and onboarding independent contractors or installation crews.
- High level proficiency with CRM systems; experience with Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
- Strong analytical and results-oriented mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actions.

- $90,000-$95,000 annually
