About the Role
The Manager will define the annual sales vision and strategy, translating high-level company objectives into actionable quarterly sales goals. This role involves balancing long-term strategic vision with the technical and operational discipline required to stand up new functions, audit sales funnels, and leverage AI to maximize productivity. The position reports to the Senior Manager of Sales Strategy & Operations.
Responsibilities
- Define the annual sales vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with DoorDash’s overarching goal of becoming a merchant's primary growth partner.
- Set and manage rigorous quarterly sales goals, ensuring the team is focused on the right drivers to achieve sustainable, high-velocity growth.
- Run the cadence of the business, including Weekly Business Reviews, ensuring every lead, opportunity, and deal is tracked with precision.
- Help stand up and optimize a well-functioning inbound function, ensuring effective capture and conversion of interest.
- Implement tooling and systems updates, and optimize the sales funnel through meticulous measurement and inspection.
- Lead discovery on the latest AI tools and technologies to drive improvements in sales productivity and outreach effectiveness.
- Map complex operational workflows, diagnose data gaps, and architect AI-driven solutions end-to-end.
- Build AI tooling (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) and ship automation that eliminates manual work, closes visibility gaps, and accelerates decision-making.
Requirements
- Possess extreme operational discipline with a "no stone unturned" approach.
- Create systems that survive scale and ensure data integrity across all CRM and reporting layers.
- Demonstrate a track record of scaling new initiatives within large, complex organizations.
- Dive deep into the funnel to identify root causes and use data to guide the team.
- Be passionate about the future of sales productivity and eager to experiment with AI-driven tools.
- Navigate Sales, Product, Analytics, and Planning teams with ease.
- Consider every broken process as a build opportunity and every data gap as a use case.
