About the Role

As an employee in power plant shift operations, you will ensure safe and environmentally compliant power plant operation with your team. You will have the opportunity to actively support the energy transition and the transformation of the plants, which involves the gradual replacement of fossil fuels. If you do not yet have a completed power plant training, we will train you as a power plant operator during the first 3-4 years of your employment.

Responsibilities

  • You will work in a 5-group, 3-shift system.
  • You will operate, control, and monitor plant components of the power plant.
  • You will perform commissioning and decommissioning.
  • You will conduct plant tours.
  • You will participate in new construction projects.
  • You will disconnect systems and assist in the creation of work permits.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed training in an electrical trade or successfully completed further training as a power plant operator.
  • Professional and operational experience in power plant operations is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of the MS Office package.
  • High level of teamwork and communication skills, as well as resilience.
  • Suitability for shift work.
  • Occasional solo work.
  • Willingness to undergo further training.
