About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated educator to join our team at Kita Maria Frieden in Mariendorf. You will help create a welcoming environment for up to 50 children, fostering their development through Christian values, community, and a holistic pedagogical approach.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the children's development and well-being
- Support children in developing their skills through observation and documentation
- Plan and integrate activities such as excursions and long-term projects into the daily routine
- Maintain an open dialogue with parents as partners in the educational process
- Contribute to the ongoing development and conceptual design of the facility
Requirements
- State-recognized educator (staatlich anerkannter Erzieherin) or equivalent qualification according to state legislation
- Experience in working with children with special needs is preferred
- Ability to communicate openly, appreciatively, and clearly with colleagues, parents, and children
- Knowledge of current pedagogical and legal requirements
