Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with contractors on job sites
- Execute daily traffic plans
- Perform setup and teardown of work zone equipment
- Conduct flagging operations
- Ensure personal safety and the safety of contractors, co-workers, and the public
- Follow training and uphold safety protocols
- Maintain vigilance to identify and mitigate safety hazards
- Work under pressure and react urgently to potential dangers
- Maintain clear and professional communication with all stakeholders
- Submit required paperwork to appropriate channels
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Possess a reliable vehicle
- Maintain a clean 5-year Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Ability to travel to designated meeting points
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to stand for at least 8 hours
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
