About the Role
Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking knowledgeable, customer-focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technicians to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and other makes of lift trucks. This role involves performing planned maintenance, maintaining a service van, and processing paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
- Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
- Maintain a service van and its inventory.
- Process paperwork after completion of each job.
Requirements
- Less than 2 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes
- Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines
- Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills
- Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment.
- Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not provided.
