About the Role

This role focuses on designing, developing, supporting, and enhancing Finance automation solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. The ideal candidate combines Power Apps/Power Automate development, Finance process knowledge, production support, and stakeholder engagement to automate and optimize financial operations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint Lists & Forms, and Power BI Dashboards.
  • Develop approval workflows, ticketing systems, intake processes, and automation solutions.
  • Automate Finance, FP&A, Accounting, and operational workflows.
  • Create solutions for Approval Routing, Notifications, Bulk Uploads, Financial Request Processing, and Operational Dashboards.
  • Reduce manual effort and improve process efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot production issues across Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Dashboards.
  • Manage user access and permissions.
  • Manage enhancements, testing, deployments, and release validation.
  • Work closely with Finance, FP&A, Accounting, Financial Systems, and IT Teams.
  • Gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Provide documentation, training, and user support.
  • Maintain strong controls around Financial Data, User Permissions, Workflow Changes, Auditability, and Production Releases.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in application development, business process automation, or systems support.
  • 3+ years of hands-on Power Platform experience.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting Finance, Accounting, FP&A, ERP, or enterprise operational processes.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders and supporting production applications.
  • Experience with Finance Transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, Oracle EPM/TM1, or NetSuite.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Power BI reporting experience.
  • Experience designing and supporting ticketing systems and approval workflows.
  • Knowledge of financial master data and chartfield processes.
  • Experience creating process documentation and training materials.
